Reading

Oxford Owl are offering free access to their home access part of their website. You will need an email address to register.

When registered please click on the "free e-books for ages 3-11" tab and then select the age band of your child. You can adjust this according to their current reading level as needed. There are also phonics games on this site and lots of other Literacy based games.

Big Cats are now also offering their e-books, free of charge, for children to read.

Click on the Teacher portal and enter

Cbeebies have a show called 'Bedtime Stories' where you can listen to a story read by a celebrity. Sit back with your child and let someone read the book for a change.

Literacy

BBC Bitesize has lots of literacy activities for children in year 1 and 2.

Purple mash

Purple mash has links to learning activities in all curriculum areas. Teachers will assign children tasks to complete from 24.3.20. 

Science

Click on this link to teach your child about the importance of handwashing. It's fun too!!
