Forest School

Our Winter Forest School sessions will be running this week over two days;

• Wednesday 15^th January; Mouse, Badger and Swan Class
• Thursday 16^th January; Fox, Squirrel and Hedgehog Class

Magpie class will join buddy classes in pairs over both days, please see Mrs Holmes or Miss Greco if you are not sure when your children will have their turn.

The children will need to bring warm clothing, a waterproof coat, and sensible shoes such as wellies or trainers. They will get changed into these when it is their turn. Children in Fox and Mouse class will need to come to school wearing these clothes, as they will be having the first session. Please ensure they have their school uniform in a bag to get changed back into.

All children with long hair will need to have it tied back for health and safety purposes.

Drama Voucher

We have been offered a voucher for a child to attend drama sessions at the Helen O’Grady Drama Academy free of charge for the rest of this term.  We are going to select the child through a draw on Tuesday 14^th January.  If you would like your child to be in the draw, please let the office staff know by either popping in or giving them a call.  Names must be with us by 3pm on Tuesday 14^th January.  We will announce the winner on Wednesday. This is open to all children in Reception, Year 1 and Year 2.

Deep inside the rainforest there’s plenty of sights to see, from crazy critters to waterfalls and the majestic tropical tree. With so much to discover there’s no doubt we must uncover our most brilliant of weeks exploring… the wonders of Tropical Rainforests!

 Get down and dirty with the creepy crawlies of the forest as we play with Rainforest Slime, evade the frenzy of a tropical storm during our Jungle Assault Course and cool off with our very own colourful Tropical Fruit Cocktails.
