Week beginning 9.12.19
Information and Events
As part of our Broadening Horizon Curriculum Cornerstone, we like to invite people to come and talk to the children about the job they do. Next term, we would love a firefighter and a vet/veterinary nurse to come to school and talk to the children. If you are or know anyone who is a fire fighter or working in the veterinary field, please pop to the office and let us know. You would not be expected to prepare anything, as the children would have many questions they would love to ask you. This strand of our curriculum supports children to understand the importance of hard work and also to gain an understanding of the kind of jobs they may wish to aspire to in the future.
The children are really enjoying their rehearsals and are excited to perform to their families in the last week of term. The times of performances are on the website calendar – please click on the links for details of which classes are performing when.
I have attached the next flyer to show the fun activities available at the after school club this coming week.
