Badger class: Bonfire night gallery
In Badger class we initially looked at the work of Jackson Pollock. His art often used a ‘dripping’ technique and as a class we used this technique to create our class firework picture. We created this picture outside and the children had lots of fun and we didn’t have to worry about the mess!
For our second piece of artwork we discussed how firework night would be different this year due to Covid 19. There wouldn’t be any large displays so if we were to see fireworks they would either be in our own garden or the gardens of our neighbours. With this in mind, we created a firework picture as if we were looking at them from our gardens. We used oil pastels to draw the different types of fireworks.
