First we found out that some colours are called warm or hot colours. They are the colours of flames and fire.

Next we looked at different types of sculpture. We learned that sculpture is art that stands up and can be made out of anything! We chose to use paper to make our flame sculptures. 

 

We looked at different fireworks and talked about the patterns they make. We printed with different things to create our firework art. For our rockets we learned how to fold and shape paper to make 3d shaped rockets. 

We had lots of fun!
